A new project by Marley Wendt called Fictional Value has included something I wrote about writing ad copy. It also features interviews with Caroline Busta, Chris Kraus, Cat Marnell, and Ottessa Moshfegh, plus prose and poetry by many more. I’m wearing the American Style baby tee Biz Sherbert sent me.
A few friends are in town for NYCxDesign week because one represents a French luxury light switch brand and the others work with him. The specificity of this company—only switches and socket plates, not the lights or fixtures they control, as seen in multiple year-round showrooms—would likely have missed me had I not known Jean-Luc and watched him grow it for years now.
